Safe Monitoring Group AB (“Safe Monitoring Group”), a leading group of gas detection manufacturers, today announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Safety Systems srl, an Italian specialist in industrial gas detection, burner management, fire detection and functional safety systems.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Milan, Italy, Safety Systems has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality industrial safety solutions across the energy, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, manufacturing and process industries. The company designs, manufactures and delivers complete turnkey systems, including gas detection, fire protection, burner management systems (BMS), emergency shutdown systems (ESD), boiler control systems (BCS) and process safety solutions developed in accordance with international standards.
The acquisition represents another important milestone in Safe Monitoring Group’s growth strategy and marks the addition of the 17th company to the Group. It further strengthens Safe Monitoring Group’s presence in Southern Europe while significantly expanding its capabilities within industrial process safety. Safety Systems complements the Group’s existing strengths in gas detection with deep expertise in integrated safety systems for complex industrial applications, creating new opportunities to serve customers with an even broader portfolio of technologies and services.
As part of Safe Monitoring Group, Safety Systems will collaborate closely with the Group’s companies across key areas including research and development, sales, marketing, procurement and service. This close cooperation will accelerate innovation, strengthen customer support and create additional value for both existing and new customers across a wider range of industries and applications.

Safe Monitoring Group acquired 100% of the shares in Safety Systems. The transaction closed on 25 June 2026.
