Andrew Collier began his career at age 16 as a Technician Apprentice with Renold Power Transmission in Manchester. Supported by the company, he completed an ONC, HNC, and HND in Mechanical Engineering with distinction, later extending this to a BEng. He also earned an additional HNC in Digital Electronics through further study.
He initially worked as a Development Engineer at Renold Research before moving into an Applications Engineer role with Nordson (UK) Ltd. He then served as Senior Design Engineer at VG Isotopes Ltd and later at Turner Scientific Ltd.
In 1986, Andrew joined Richard Oliver Ltd as a Project Engineer, designing bespoke engine exhaust analysis systems. He progressed to Operations Manager and subsequently Operations Director. Following the acquisition of International Gas Detectors (IGD) in 1996, he became Managing Director of the newly formed Oliver IGD Ltd, also taking responsibility for technical leadership. He led a comprehensive redevelopment of IGD’s product range, modernising the portfolio and strengthening its technical capabilities.
In 2005, he and Sales Director Colin Peake completed a management buyout of IGD. After the company’s sale to Safe Monitoring Group in 2023, Andrew continued as Managing Director and also assumed the role of Group Technical Officer.

Uu Su Haw serves as the President for Asia Pacific hemisphere at the Safe Monitoring Group (SMG). He leads the current and future portfolio market expansion within the region as well as strategic M&As initiatives.
With more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the Safety (Gas & Flame) and Robotics (Collaborative) solutions and technologies, Uu is highly experienced in Asia pacific distribution, channel development, direct/ indirect sale of industrial products and systems. An executive with extensive experiences helping manufacturing organisations across safety industries and market segments to improves overall performance through solution sets including strategic planning, acquisitions, business process redesign and/ or technology implementations. These experiences including M&A strategy, acquisitions and integrations enables him to drive effective and executable go-to-market initiatives strengthening SMG’s capacity and market reach.

Kevin McKeigue serves as President, Americas and Head of Product Strategy at Safe Monitoring Group (SMG), where he leads regional growth and defines the Group's global product direction. He aligns market insight, customer requirements, and engineering execution to deliver differentiated safety solutions across SMG's portfolio.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in gas detection, safety, automation, and sensing technologies, Kevin brings deep domain expertise combined with private-equity-backed value creation. His background spans M&A strategy, acquisition integration, and global P&L leadership, including two major private equity–backed transactions. This experience enables him to drive disciplined product innovation, effective go-to-market execution, and sustainable long-term market leadership.

Niklas Skytting joined Alder in August 2025, bringing a strong background in finance and strategic growth to the Safe Monitoring Group network. He previously gained experience at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking, as well as at Einride and Nordea, where he developed deep expertise in financial analysis, transactions, and scaling innovative businesses.
Niklas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Stockholm School of Economics. With his analytical mindset and international perspective, he supports SMG’s continued expansion and long-term value creation — helping strengthen our group of companies as we work toward safer, smarter solutions across the global gas detection industry.
