Safe Monitoring Group AB, a leader in gas detection, today announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Protex Systems Ltd, a UK-based specialist in industrial gas detection.
Protex Systems Ltd is a leading independent supplier of industrial fire and gas detection instrumentation, systems, and consultancy services, serving high-hazard sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Power Generation. Rather than simply supplying products, the company designs and delivers complete solutions – from complex integrated fire and gas systems to bespoke designs – tailored to each site’s specific risks.
The acquisition represents another important milestone in Safe Monitoring Group’s growth strategy and marks the addition of the 18th company to the Group. It further strengthens Safe Monitoring Group’s presence in the UK, while significantly expanding its capabilities in design and aftermarket support for flame and gas detection systems.
As part of Safe Monitoring Group, Protex Systems will collaborate closely with the Group’s companies across key areas, including research and development, sales, marketing, procurement and service. This close cooperation will accelerate innovation, strengthen customer support and create additional value for both existing and new customers across a wider range of industries and applications.
