Safe Monitoring Group (SMG), a portfolio company of Alder and a leading global provider of safety instrumentation and monitoring solutions, today announced its acquisition of Gastronics, Inc., a pioneer in wireless gas detection systems.
This addition marks the first North America-based company to join the SMG portfolio, which now includes eight industry-leading gas detection brands and several value-add service companies, all focused on personnel safety and property protection. The acquisition further expands SMG’s gas detection capabilities and strengthens the Group’s presence across industrial, commercial, refrigeration and process markets.
