Safe Monitoring Group AB (“Safe Monitoring Group”), an industry group of gas detector manufacturers, has completed the acquisition of Sensotran sl. (“Sensotran”). Together with Sensotran, Safe Monitoring Group will continue expanding its efforts to protect people, equipment, and the environment from hazardous gas leaks.
Established in 1990, Sensotran is a Spanish company specializing in gas detection solutions for industrial safety. The company offers a comprehensive range of fixed gas detectors, wireless instruments, and portable devices to monitor toxic, flammable, and oxygen-deficient atmospheres. Headquartered in El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Sensotran is recognized for its commitment to innovation and reliability in gas detection technology.
As part of Safe Monitoring Group, Sensotran will collaborate with the other companies in the group across areas such as R&D, marketing, procurement, sales, and service. This will benefit current customers of Sensotran and other Safe Monitoring Group companies, who will gain access to a wider range of products and services to support their needs in both existing and new applications.

Safe Monitoring Group has acquired 100% of the shares in Sensotran. The process was completed on 23 October 2025. The sellers of Sensotran have reinvested and are now shareholders in Safe Monitoring Group, and they will continue working within the group.
